Colm is a highly experienced sports and musculoskeletal chartered physiotherapist. He specialises in the effective management of injury including back and neck pain, muscle, joint and sports injury in young and old across all activity levels. He has many years experience successfully returning people to full function after injury at all levels, including elite sport having been the lead physiotherapist for the Dublin hurling team, and consulting therapist for Premier League and Championship football clubs along with elite UK sprinters regarding hamstring injury rehab and tendinopathy. Colm's approach is based on the most up to date evidence. He has in depth knowledge of human biomechanics, gait analysis and the prescription of orthotics (insoles). He is a published author in the areas of hamstring injury, biomechanics, motion capture in children with Cerebral Palsy, and muscle strengthening in children with Cerebral Palsy. He has extensive experience teaching at post-graduate and third level including sports injury rehabilitation, biomechanics, back pain and gait analysis.
Colm holds a PhD in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, an MSc in Sports and Exercise Medicine and a Certificate in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy
